    Description

    You are bidding on an 8 x 10 black and white photograph of HMCS Valleyfield K 329, the River Class Frigate which served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1943 to 1944.
    Valleyfield, was laid down at the Morton Engineering shipyards at Quebec City, on November 30, 1942. She was launched on July 17, 1943, and commissioned in the Royal Canadian Navy on December 7, 1943.
    She was utilized as an ocean escort until her tragic loss on May 7, 1944.
    Photograph one is undated and shows an  overall waterline starboard beam view.
    Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships badge , general characteristics, callsign, trivia, and the ensigns she proudly flew.
