You are bidding on an 8 x 10 black and white photograph of HMCS Capilano K 409, the River Class Frigate which served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1944 to 1945.
The Capilano began her life on November 18, 1943. She was launched on April 8, 1944 and commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy on August 25, 1944.
Like her sister ships she was involved in ocean escort between North America and Great Britian.
Photograph one is circa 1944 and shows an  overall waterline port beam view.
Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships badge , general characteristics, callsign, trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
