    Description

    You are bidding on a 8 x 10 black and white  photograph of the second HMCS Vancouver, K 240 , a Flower Class (40-41 program) Corvette, which served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1942 to 1945.
    The Vancouver  began her life at Yarrows, Esquimalt on June 16, 1941. She was launched on August 28, 1941 and was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy on March 20, 1942.
    She was utlized as an escort on both coats and during the 1943 Aleutions Campaign was under US Control. She was paid off on June 26, 1945 and scrapped at Hamilton, Ontario in 1946.
    Photograph one is an undated photo and shows an overall waterline starboard bow view.
    Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships badge, general characteristics, callsign, trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
