You are bidding on an 8 x 10 colour photograph of HMCS Thetford Mines K459, the River Class Frigate which served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1944 to 1945.
Thetford Mines, was laid down, on July 7, 1943, at the Morton Engineering shipyards at Quebec City. She was launched on October 30, 1943, and commissioned in the Royal Canadian Navy on May 25, 1944.
She was utilized as an ocean escort until she paid off in November 1945.
Photograph one is undated and shows an  overall waterline starboard quarter view.
Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships badge , general characteristics, callsign, trivia, and the ensigns she proudly flew.
