    Description

    You are bidding on a 8 x 10 black and white photograph of HMCS Camrose  K154, a Flower Class (39-40 program) Corvette which served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945.
    Like her sister corvettes she served on convoy escorts in the Battle of Atlantic. In January 1944 she and the Royal Navy frigate HMS Baynton sank U-Boat U-757, south west of Iceland. She participated in Operations Torch and Neptune and returned home to be paid off in 1945, to be broken up at Hamilton in 1947.
    Photograph one, is circa 1943 and shows an overall waterline port beam view.
    Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships crest, general characteristics, callsign, trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
    Item three is an 8 x 10 colour with a short history of the Camrose , complete with a list of her Commanding Officers, and a crew photograph.
