DESCRIPTION: Handmade by Gingeryo. Drop waist, knee length dress with RED bodice and RED & NAVY PLAID skirt. This listing is for a new, handcrafted REPRODUCTION inspired by the vintage Mattel fashions, #1651 Beau Time from 1966-67 and Best Bow from 1967. The drop waist bodice is made of a true red lightweight cotton blend poplin and is attached to an ADORABLE red and navy plaid woven cotton gathered skirt. The hand-tied bow attached to front of the dress is made of the same fabric as the bodice. Skirt length is just at the knee. Zipper back closure has been sewn in by hand using the Marirose stab-stitch method. Best fits traditional Barbie body (vintage/mod/Shani) but will also fit Miss Suzette and similar vintage dolls (see photos).
PLEASE NOTE that the length of the dress is modeled after the length of an original vintage #1651 Beau Time dress: approximately 3⅜" from shoulder to drop waist and approximately 2⅞" from drop waist to hem (see photos). This listing is for one handmade dress only as shown. Dolls, shoes, accessories and stands shown in the model photos are not included. NEW.
