This set is something every girl needs as a staple in her jewelry collection. It's a simple classic pearl strand with a pair of pearl solitaire stud earrings. The strand of pearls is 18 inches in length. The pearls are off-round in shape and about 5mm. The filigree clasp is 14k yellow gold. The pearls on the earrings are round in shape and measure about 6mm. The posts and earring backs are14k yellow gold. The pearls on both the necklace and earring is ivory in color, but the earrings may be ever so slightly darker, or more cream in color. The pearls are natural and not treated ao alight variations are to be expected. The pearls are strung onto silk thread. The thread has stretched a tad, which creates a small amount of slack in the thread (see photos). The pearls fall forward on the strand due to gravity, so the slack moves to either side of the clasp, and isn't noticeable. This set is very elegant and a classic style, great for dressing up or going casual, a must have for every girl's jewelry collection. I can't imagine a girl not liking this set.
